Grace Kolawole is a recent graduate of Bowie State University and a current Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). She is passionate about working with youth and individuals committed to using therapy as a pathway for learning coping skills and healing from past traumas. Grace employs a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Crisis Intervention, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Art Therapy.
As an advocate for Black boys, Grace leads the community program "Black Boys R Beautiful," where she focuses on creating safe spaces for young men of color. At her core, she is a humanist and community worker, dedicated to increasing her knowledge and understanding of how to support and help individuals heal. Grace emphasizes the importance of gaining awareness of the present moment and context in her therapeutic practice.
